In honor of the Olympic cycle coming around the turn, we centered the host city of Paris at the heart of our design process. The BTC “Athlétisme Line” takes the french translation of “Track and Field” (Athlétisme), and explores the intersection of sport, fashion, and cultural exchange. Featuring an interplay between classic running aesthetics, with the passion and energy surrounding French soccer culture, the Athlétisme Vapor IV Jersey features BTC soccer inspired logos and placements, with the ethos of Paris written in sleek script below the neckline: “Fluctuat Nec Mergitur” (She is tossed by the waves but does not sink) The parisian mentality mirrors what’s needed to compete at the highest level and is a fitting motto for our club as we celebrate the city and nation that will host Olympic hopefuls looking for their chance at greatness.
