The dream of bringing together like-minded athletes to train, learn, and work toward collective running + personal goals is a reality at Bowerman Summer Camp.
BTC is a premier Track club and offers high school runners entering grades 9-12 a rare opportunity to live & train like the pros.
Camp Cost
Early Bird Registration: $975 — Must register before March 1st
Normal Registration: $1050 — Registration March 1st — May 15th
Late Registration: $1125 — Registrations after May 15th
Payment
An initial deposit of $200 will be paid at registration. The remaining camp payment will be invoiced in April.
Team Discount:
We encourage teams to come together! Any athlete that is part of team of 5 or more from the same school will receive a $75 discount. Coaches with a team of 5 or more athletes are eligible to attend camp as support staff. For coaches inquiring about joining camp, please email camp@bowermantc.com.
Family Discount:
Any family with 2 or more athletes participating in camp will receive a $75 discount per athlete
*Team and Family discounts cannot be combined and will be applied to the remaining balance payment in April.

Camper Welcome Packets will begin to be sent out in April.
This packet includes all the important details about camp, including travel information, shuttle details, health forms, and everything you need to be ready for Camp!

There is no pace or PR requirement. Training groups are decided based on a combination of various responses to training surveys sent out prior to camp. If staff members deem necessary, changes in groups can be accommodated.

The team Olympics competition runs throughout the week—including games and relays such as ultimate frisbee, Tug of War, a Hill Climb Race, and more! All campers have the option to go whitewater river rafting as well! Lawn games such as Spike Ball and Cornhole are always available. In free time, groups will have the option to go swimming in the Deschutes River.

All campers check in to camp between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm on the first day of camp. Follow the signs on campus to registration at the Residence Hall. 1500 SW Chandler Avenue. After a closing, check out takes place on Saturday at 10:00am from the dorms, the last day of camp.

Yes, campers are supervised by the coaches and staff. Staff members will stay in the same residence hall as the campers and will be supervising during instruction, dining times, evening activities, and in the dorms. All staff members complete background checks before working the camp.

BTC Running Camp welcomes individual campers and teams. If you come to camp by yourself, we’ll assign you to a dorm room with another single camper, similar in age. It's a great place to meet new friends who share your enthusiasm for the sport and to have FUN!

Yes! If a team would like to attend and come together, a $75 discount will be applied to each member's tuition. Email camp@bowermantc.com for details!

Campers stay in suite-style dorm rooms—Two bedrooms with one shared bath. Basic linens will be provided, but campers can bring personal items as well.
Roommate requests can be filled out in the Camp Registration form. If you would like to add a roommate request after registering for a camp, please send us an email at camp@bowermantc.com.
Campers without roommate requests will be placed in a room with another camper of the same gender and of similar age. -
Yes. We have certified athletic trainers and a doctor on-call at all times. The BTC staff are also first-aid certified.

Athletes will run one or two times a day, schedule-dependent. Morning runs are distance-oriented and there are optional afternoon runs for those interested. Actual distances vary based on runners mileage and ability.
Campers should be prepared to run 4-10 miles per day, 30-60 miles during the week. Mileage depends on experience and fitness. Running groups are based on current fitness level and spring performances.

Redmond (RDM) is about 30 min from camp and is the best airport to fly to. Portland (PDX) is a 3hr shuttle to camp. We provide shuttle pickup and dropoff options for both airports, accompanied by staff.
Campers and parents are expected to arrange their own travel to Bend. The optimal flight Arrival Time in Bend is 11:00 am - 1:00 pm on the first day of camp and and the optimal departure time is 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm on the last day of camp.
