BTC Parents,

Congrats to those who raced yesterday! Meet results can be found below.

We’ve got a lot of youth participating tomorrow at the Lewis and Clark College XC Invitational. Some reminders for tomorrow’s race, from the Meet Director:

SCHEDULE

Girls + Boys

1:00pm: Middle School/Youth 3k.

PARKING

  • CARPOOL AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE – there are ~500 parking spots at the main course location

    • All vehicles must park in designated parking spots; those parked along roadsides or in grass are subject to citations

    • Fans are encouraged to depart as soon as their athlete is done competing to aid other spectators in finding parking near the course

    • All non-team vehicles must pay the $5 day use fee upon arrival; please account for this in your travel plans, as there may be a line to enter the park

    • It will take 5-10min to get to the course area once you enter the park; please account for this in your travel plans

      • After entering park, turn left at first intersection w/stop sign, travel ~1mile down the hill, then bus dropoff either straight ahead or left at next intersection. To get closest to the starting line, turn left and drop off at second parking lot on the right near Dogwood shelter

RESTROOMS

  • There are three main permanent restrooms throughout the park, and these should be the only ones spectators use. Please relay to parents.

  • There will be 30 port-a-potties located near the start line that should be reserved for athlete use only.

STARTING BOXES / COURSE MAPS (see attached)

  • The starting line is ~45m wide and each box is about 1m wide (the width of a track lane)

  • Boxes are numbered by paint on the ground and/or wooden stakes

  • The entire course will be lined with surveyor flags on both sides of the course, with colors corresponding to the loop colors on the maps (white, black, orange).
