Danny was a national class collegiate and professional runner in the 80’s and 90’s. He has been running since age 12, when he joined the Arrow Track Club in Los Altos, CA. While in college at San Jose State, he set the 10,000-meter school record with a time of 28:42.  During his post collegiate running career in 1989, he went on to deliver a personal best of 28:26 at the Mt. Sac Relays.  His two most memorable career races were his 10,000-meter school record and his win at the 1986 California International Marathon where he won in 2:13:20. His Masters PR for 10K is 31:00 in the 2003 Pacific Sun 10K near San Francisco. Gonzalez has no major running goals beyond being consistent, avoiding injury, and continuing to enjoy the running experience. Danny currently is a digital marketing manager, living in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
